Career & Technical Education programs are designed to prepare students for careers in current or emerging professions, often motivating them to finish high school and helping them to earn more annually in their careers. CTE is helping close the skills gap that employers are experiencing—the disparity between the skills job-seekers offer and the skills that employers need.

In accordance with The Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century Act, the Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) must annually report on outcomes for federally required core indicators. Indicators are determined by the US Department of Education. Targets are determined by OSSE and with the parameters set by the US Department of Education. Core indicator outcomes for school year 2022-23 are available and can be viewed by the individual Local Education Agency (LEA).
